by admin on June 30, 2010

I need to find out a home remendies on how to take seafood order out of a room. This room is used everyday, thats right everyday for cooking seafood and fish. Is there something that I can use or put out everyday to keep this awful smell down?

Assuming the fish is not contaminated or too old, rinse it well and powder it with baking soda. one hour later rinse again. The odor may be gone.

Put some vinegar in a bowl or two, depending on the size of the room. Say a cup or so per bowl, and sit these around the room. Vinegar absorbs odors, and yes, you will smell vinegar for a little while and that smell will dissapate taking the bad odors too. Leave the bowls out for a day or so, or untill bad odors are gone, you can repeat this as many times as needed.

Leave the top off a jar of bicarbonate of soda – it absorbs bad odours plus it is not full of nasty toxins unlike some of those odour eliminator sprays.
